Payment must be made in advance of the student arriving on campus to begin classes. Payments are refunded should the United States deny the visa, but no payment is refunded if a student is withdrawn or otherwise fails to attend. Affordability
Families who are concerned that affording Southwestern Academy may be beyond their means are encouraged to consider applying for financial aid or participating in one of the payment plans offered by the school.

Southwestern is committed to employing flexible arrangements for families who need it to pay for tuition and fees. We examine the unique circumstances of your family situation and recommend a plan that makes sense for all parties. If a payment plan is needed to make attending Southwestern affordable, please let our staff know of your concerns and we in turn will do our best to work with you.
Financial Aid
Southwestern Academy strives to make its educational experience accessible to as many families as possible, and we do this by offering tuition assistance to qualified students based on their financial need and availability of funds.
All financial aid is offered in the form of a grant and does not need to be repaid, making a Southwestern education affordable for families from all backgrounds. The amount each family receives varies depending on their financial circumstances. Financial aid requests must be renewed annually, as awards are made for one year only. It is our school policy to keep all financial aid applications and awards completely confidential. Likewise, it is the expectation that our financial aid recipients do the same.
To apply for financial aid, simply complete the Clarity Application (school code 3419) by January 31 (or by January 15 for returning families). Please note that the majority of our financial aid budget is awarded to families who apply by the deadline, but we will do our best to provide assistance to late applicants based on our available budget.
