Most of our students never thought of holding a leadership position in the student government…until they came to Southwestern. Then they felt comfortable and confident to be part of the Student Council. All positions help students learn how to lead and represent others effectively. The Student Council does much more than organize special events, parties, and dances. It acts as the voice of the students in important issues.
THE STUDENT COUNCIL CONSISTS OF:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Presidents of each campus club
- Head Proctor
Special leadership training for proctors and officers is held on campus and at an annual youth leadership camp.
